One shape suits all dress – sceptical?
Here at Snap Fashion we’re big believers in dressing for your body shape and have created some cutting-edge technology to help you identify your shape, which we know can be confusing, just by taking a photo of yourself!
So we’re particularly interested in dresses that have just hit the high street that claim to suit all body shapes. So far Gok Wan (for Sainsbury’s) and M&S are leading the way in figure-fixing frocks.
Gok’s Chenongsam Dress has a built-in smoothing slip. The description says: “A sleek, slimming and universally sexy dress for every age, occasion and body shape. With a built in sculpting slip and double piping on the outside, it works twice as hard to streamline the silhouette.”
Similarly, M&S has just launched a Secret Support Square Neck Contrast Piping Dress, “featuring a concealed secret support lining to help smooth your curves for a streamlined silhouette. Added stretch and a great cut give a figure-flattering fit,” says the description.
Clever M&S haven’t got a pic or video we can insert but you can see the dress here.
There’s no doubt that these dresses will certainly help women dress to suit their shape with minimum effort. But do you reckon that one shape can suit all? – we’d love to hear your opinions, especially if you’ve test-driven these dresses! x
