Style Crush: Is Chloe Moretz the world’s coolest 14 year-old?

Maybe I sound like my mother but it’s nice to see a Hollywood teen who doesn’t dress like she’s 30! What’s interesting is that unlike other starlets who are groomed and styled to perfection (read the same as every other A-lister adult) Chloe Moretz is causing a bit of a fashion storm and inspiring fashion-lovers older than her years.

While she always looks impeccable on the red carpet, Chloe still has fun with her dressing and isn’t showing an uncomfortable amount of cleavage/leg/both. We adore her latest editorial in ASOS magazine which is super fun with lashings of bubblegum pink, sneakers and lots of bright colours. What a breath of fresh air!

And according to the content Chloe sounds cute. She told the mag: “My mom won’t let me buy high-fashion stuff unless it’s TK Maxx or a birthday occasion.”

But the girl has taste! While she favours high street favourites Topshop, Urban Outfitters and American Apparel, she has a penchant for Rupert Sanderson shoes.

“I have so many shoes by that label. They’re not ridiculously comfortable to wear but they are the most beautiful.”

Chloe has also coined her own new term: “Tumblrinas” aka people who dress in an extreme way with the aim of getting snapped and appearing somewhere on the photo blogging site.

“I’m on Tumblr all day, they always have pictures of Converse shoes with a platform on them. I found a website where you can buy them but I stopped myself because like, where would I wear them? I’ll walk down the street and be like, ‘Hey, that girl’s a Tumblrina.’ It’s so bad,” she apparently said. We love it!

This candy-coloured dress is perfect for Spring SS12
