Discovery Monday: Starstyling

Oh how I wish I knew about the Starstyling label when I was in Berlin…but Topshop is stocking some special pieces in its Emerge section, which is great news for us Brits. As you know, we’re suckers for stripes at Snap (especially the Breton variety) so we are naturally crazy for Starstyling.

The label was created by Katja Schlegel and Kai Seifried who love exploratory techniques and patterns with an urban edge, whether that means spattered paint or neat neon lines. We LOVE the fact that their SS12 collection is playfully called ‘Striped for your right to party’ and these are perfect party clothes with a sporty style perfect for this summer and the Olympics.

According to fashion blog Unlike, Starstyling isn’t about fashion per se but the ‘critical analysis and visual reflection of trends and society’. That means slinky jersey, neon stitching and print and even details made from recycled table cloths. Are you a fan?
