Cover Models: Emma Watson vs Lana Del Rey

We haven’t caught up  with all the October magazines yet but two of our favourites are Vogue Australia’s Lana Del Rey editorial and UK Glamour Magazine’s cover, which features Emma Watson. Both are dreamy with flowing fabric, dusty pastels and sultry blues. Which is your favourite?

Victoria Beckham for US Glamour

We’re used to seeing Victoria Beckham uber polished and pouty but we love this Glamour editorial as it brings out her fun side….look, VB likes colour and tiaras. Cute!

Elizabeth Olsen rocks the military trend

Oh we wish we could get hold of a copy of US Glamour magazine. Not only has it got a v glammed up Victoria Beckham on the cover it (perhaps more excitingly) contains this lush Elizabeth Olsen shoot. She looks AMAZING!

Love the Burberry owl tee!

We do love a sparkly jacket!

Gwen Stefani is pretty in pink

After this season’s sugary overload we thought we’d had enough of pretty pastels, but then we saw this shoot with Gwen Stefani in Harper’s Bazaar for a late sugar high.

Wearing McQueen

Vogue Paris frock off

Vogue Paris has a trio of models on its September issue front cover and they’re all wearing the same Dolce & Gabbana dress.

It’s a bold move pitching Kate Moss, Lara Stone and Daria Werbowy against each other, all of whom are also wearing strong red lipstick. The big question is, who is your favourite and who do you think will sell the most copies?

Style Crush: Margaret Qualley

Margaret Qualley has A-star pedigree (her mum is the eternally youthful Andie MacDowell) but now the 17 year-old is modelling for Chanel and Valentino and has an enviable sense of style.

While she claims that she has a normal childhood, Margaret told Teen Vogue: “I’m always thrilled when she’s [Andie is] cleaning out her closet. Last time, I got a pair of boots that she bought in Paris 20 years ago. I have completely worn them out. She also recently had a pair of earrings with pretty stones in them that were too heavy, so she turned them into necklaces for me and my sister, which I really love.”

She told the magazine that she’s pretty casual day-to-day, loves Free People and vintage pieces. But of course her celebrity earns her serious fashion perks! She said: “This season, I went to Paris with my sister to see the Dior show, and in our downtime, we wandered around a flea market near the Eiffel Tower. It’s cool to see cities as more than just a tourist would.”

Vogue: going for gold

As the closing ceremony for the London 2012 Games approaches we’re filled with excitement, tinged with a little sadness as this Summer of sport has been incredible. (We’re still stoked about the Paralympics btw!)

As well as Victoria (Spice Girl again) Beckham’s probably performance one of the rumoured features of the closing extravaganza is a supermodel walk-off and we can’t wait. Naomi Campbell hosted a dinner party that has whetted our appetites further – just look at the outfits – while Vogue has produced this glittering golden display of British fashion talent. Go Team GB!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley covers Elle magazine

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looks amazing on the cover of Elle magazine’s September issue and we can’t wait to see the subscriber’s issue *waits by the letter box*. I love the mixture of winter florals and crochet…but are short shorts the perfect seasonal transitional outfit…maybe only in front cover land.

Emma Stone for Vogue

It’s yet another Emma Stone cover (check out our devotion here). We have yet to buy the August issue of Vogue but apparently the editorial is lush. Here’s the cover and a pretty picture.

Yet another sixties-inspired cover

Mila Kunis covers: Elle vs Glamour

Mila Kunis is wearing AW12 Christian Dior to cover the August edition of UK Elle magazine, but looks more her boho self on the cover of US Glamour. Of course Mila is the face of Dior’s handbag line so perhaps the choice of tasty clothing is no surprise. Many people are so a fan of her slightly grumpy expression for Elle but I think her outfit more than makes up for it and she still looks super pretty. Which is your fav?
