Minimalist statement cuff for £15

Occasionally a high street accessory comes around that looks totally high-end designer and maked your friends go ‘wow’. May we introduce to you, StylistPick’s Svana cuff.

It comes in three natural colours and is made of real leather and metal – perfect for that celine-esque minimalism. Best of all, it is only £15 and won’t make annoying jangley noises or go for walks up your arm.

Kelly Osbourne raises eyebrows in Topshop dress

Or should that be erases eyebrows?!

Kelly Osbourne has been snapped wearing a stylish Topshop cut-out summer dress (that is or was in the sale *gasp*) with bleached brows. Apparently the radical beauty statement was for a fashion shoot but she has kept the look and it is striking (along with her fantastically playful plastic Chanel earrings).

Better dye them again in time for AW12 though Kelly, big brows are BACK!

Weight-conscious holiday fashion

Nope, we’re not talking about crazy summer diets and unflattering bikinis, but the weight of your suitcase.

Apparently over a quarter of holidaying Brits will spill over their luggage limit at the airport this summer, usually necessitating airing their clean/dirty laundry in the airport, a clothing cull or a hefty fine. Of course it doesn’t help that different airlines have different (stringent) weight limits.

‘So how do we solve this first world problem’ I hear you cry. Well, as new clothing website thinks it has nailed it. The solution? You can weigh your clothes before buying them. is reportedly run by ex-fash mag editors and sells designer and boutique holiday buys, which you can search for in the normal clothing-type way, or by your kind of holiday – City, Spa, Staycation, Outdoors, Beach etc. It has a killer collection of all your favourite designers and prints perfect for holidaying in style.

Fashion beach noms on offer

But most innovatively each item of clothing has been weighed, so in theory if you bought your whole holiday wardrobe from there and if you didn’t pack your camera/books/sunscreen etc you would know exactly how much your luggage weighs before checking in.

A handy holiday gift from the website!

Now, the super practical and less flush among us, might make-do with the bathroom scales, but for fashionistas who only do 5* and whose bikinis cost more than your rent, this site must be heaven-sent.

P.S. Check out the sale, there are some AWESOME buys. We love these printed trousers by Mara Hoffman for £84 (70% off) – they weight 0.21kg BTW so you can totes squeeze them in your tote!

Yay for sales!

Snap The Look – Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria has showcased a serious collection of dresses at Cannes this year (jealous much), but here’s how you can get Eva’s look from the UK high-street for a penny under £100.

Richard Nicholl SS12 vs H&M

H&M’s boutique collection found in some of its flagship stores has some amazing sugary sweet pastel miniskirts in a variety of textures from the ultra tight and shiny to boxy with transparent panelling. Captured (really badly) you can see what an amazing selection of pieces perhaps a tiny bit similar to Richard Nicholl’s SS12 collection on sale and you can mix and match soooo well. Something for the girls that love to rock a pastel without all the frills.

I loved this collection- pastel but sporty

The amazing collection at H&M- there’s a brilliantly boxy mini skirt in blue (end of the rack) that is soooo Nicholl!

Making rubber chic!

Best Bag Buys

The high-street is full of amazing statement bags at the moment, and we went on a bit of a mission  to find the best ones for you. Here are our top picks.

Love this beige bag from M&S. It looks so much more expensive than £35. Do what we did and team with maxi skirt and denim jacket to smarten up your look. (It's also available in black)

Made of butter soft leather and in a statement shade of orange, this bag from M&S will add a pop of colour to your outfit - a great buy for fans of Celine.

A little bit Pucci or D&G inspired, a little bit Versace with the statement metal plaque, this bag from Topshop ticks a load of trend boxes. We loved the details like the metal balls at the sides.

Just for fun, how shocked does this bag look?! 😮

Snapped: Lana Del Rey’s sparkly shoes!

Lana Del Rey (a style crush of ours) was seen out and about in London yesterday causing a stir with her choice of sheer top and skirt.  She obviously did a spot of shopping while she was here too as the shoes she’s wearing look suspiciously like the ones that are new in at Topshop.  They’re much more sparkly in real life and a great way to embrace the underwater trend in a more subtle way this season.

The shoes! VIBRANT glitter ballet pumps, £19 from Topshop

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all our lovely readers! We love this cute bunny key ring from Coach.

A bunny wearing glasses - seriously, what more could you want?

Benetton’s Pin Up pastels

Think pastels and you’ll probably think of Louis Vuitton this season. But Benetton has a rather perfect pastel palette on the high street in super saccharine lilac, mint and sherbet lemon.

The Pin Up collection focuses on plain basics (handy with this season’s pastel skinny jeans and printed cropped trousers). The best bit is that the vest tops, long-sleeved tees and cardis are designed to ‘model and enhance your body shape’. I have yet to try them out but who doesn’t want to ‘emphasise their feminineness’ (um femininity?) this season? Will you be giving these tees a go?

Love the retro styling

Louis Vuitton pastel perfection

Hot trend alert! Metal-tipped heels

Louis Vuitton’s SS12 collection showcased some stunning pieces including these Merry-Go-Round mules. The problem for us mere mortals? Mules are really hard to walk in without brusing your toes and the last time they were on-trend I spent most of the summer tripping over!

Love the detailing on the Merry-Go-Round mule

Luckily for those of us without a designer budget (or a need not to trip over in the office) the metal toecap detailing is making its way onto the high-street and looks fierce in a pastel kind way! Here are our top 3 picks.

Zara - £69.99 - Court Shoe with Metal Toe Cap

Topshop - £60 - Gilmore Metallic Toecap Points

Topshop - £50 - Gabbi Metal Toecap Points
