The fash pack descended on The Royal Academy of Art’s Summer Exhibition and so we picked our three favourite outfits…and no surprise readers, we liked Alexa Chung‘s summery simplicity best. While you might not get to sip champers with the celebs, if you’re an art fan or just fancy an interesting afternoon, the exhibitions are always wonderful and make us want to pick up a pencil or paintbrush!

I can’t wait for summer and every time I open a fashion magazine Mulberry’s amazing SS12 campaign teases me a little more that it’s still a bit of a wait. But I spotted this tasty skirt in Whistles and it reminded me of the British seaside and Mr Whippy ice cream so here is an ode to just that….oh, and here’s Tali Lennox’s seductive shoot for Eleven Paris – just because it features a stripy lollipop.
Thank goodness for the Elle Style Awards. We’ve been struggling all week to find amazing red carpet looks for you, despite the Grammys and Baftas both coming around. But finally we have some styles that are original and fun as well as super glamourous.
Plenty of people have gone gaga for Alexa Chung’s trouser suit but (I’m being super brave here) despite loving Alexa and Stella McCartney, who designed the suit, it kind of left me cold…too sensible perhaps?

Oh yet another daughter of an 1980s pop star just happens to be incredibly beautiful and a model. Tali Lennox is modelling Karen Millen’s new spring collection and it’s full of clashing prints, colour-pop accessories and digital floral prints. Are you a fan of a) Tali and b) KM’s collection?
The celebs were out in force for the All Saints Breakthrough Breast Cancer party, which apart from raising a lot of money and awareness, saw a lot of stylish celebrities out in force.
