Georgia May Jagger + Pixie Geldof get charitable
Following in the charitable and fashionable footsteps of Mossy, Twiggy, Sienna Miller and Claudia Schiffer, Georgia May Jagger and Pixie Geldof are the new faces of the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign.
I love the kinda speckley photos for the campaign, which will of course feature heaps of products to buy in some of the UK’s most popular high street chains – M&S, Topshop, River Island, Warehouse. This year the products revolve around three themes: Festival Fever, Royal tea Party and Seaside Promenade (how very Mulberry!) and whatever you buy – apparently there will be friendship bracelets, cute! – 30% of the profits will go to the campaign, which has raised £12 since it started so you can shop guilt free.
LFW day2/3: Stella McCartney vs Mulberry
Both shows were packed with celebs, drama and were one of LFW’s hottest tickets so how did Stella’s starry dinner compare with Mulberry’s magical woodland?
Mulberry: yetis + monsters!
Halloween came early at Mulberry as monsters, yetis and Where The Wild Things Are inspired outfits were de rigour…as well as some elegant gowns and sensational printed parkers – my new lust-have.
You’ll be wearing furry gilets and jackets belted at the waist with thick woolly items and sleek lady-like skirts teamed with heeled hiking boots (dig them out from Winter ’10). Tangerine and burnt tones with brown and black zigzags, mixed textures and quilting made up the outdoorsy winter-wear, while star prints and subtle multicoloured metallics will make winter sparkle in due time.
We also glimpsed the new Del Rey bag, aptly carried by Lana in ostrich white.
Guest list: Laura Carmichael and Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey) sat alongside Michelle Williams, Elizabeth Olsen, Lana Del Rey, Pixie Geldof, Azealia Banks, Olivia Palermo, Pixie Lott, Anna Wintour…impressive!
Stella: dinner for hundreds
According to Vogue the celebs sat down to a tasty veggie dinner chez Stella while models wafted around, then at 11pm a famous magician entertained the crowd by apparently hypnotising Alexa Chung before balancing her on three swords. And it got weirder…a model started screaming, waiters dropped their trays and a flash mob ensued with models carried in on chairs. To hell with a catwalk!
Guest list: Rihanna, Kate Moss, Yasmin Le Bon, Minnie Driver, Anna Wintour, Bill Nighy, Alison Mosshart, Alexa Chung, Mario Testino and many more.
After all the drama, guests finally got to see a capsule collection of evening wear complete with amazing costume jewellery before the big reveal in Paris next week. And there’s no pics yet!

Elle Style Awards: seductive sheer vs playful print
Thank goodness for the Elle Style Awards. We’ve been struggling all week to find amazing red carpet looks for you, despite the Grammys and Baftas both coming around. But finally we have some styles that are original and fun as well as super glamourous.
Plenty of people have gone gaga for Alexa Chung’s trouser suit but (I’m being super brave here) despite loving Alexa and Stella McCartney, who designed the suit, it kind of left me cold…too sensible perhaps?
So instead we bring you the sheer and seductive versus the playful print. Whose team are you on?

Alexa Chung + Kate Moss head-up best dressed celebs: Christmas markets edition
It’s that time of year when Londoners either do battle on Oxford St losing all their holiday cheer, or flock to Christmas markets to stock up on mulled wine, strange wooden toys and chutney…why is there always chutney?
We’re not sure what Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof, Kate Moss and Sadie Frost bought when they attended a market in Primrose Hill this weekend, but their outfits certainly give us some inspiration of what to wear at an outdoor Christmas gathering (obviously sunglasses) – oh the sartorial dilemmas we do face in his day and age 😉
P.S. the answer seems to be skinny jeans, comfy shoes (Ugg boots now seemingly acceptable again), funky scarf, faux fur, kooky glasses and no-effort hair. We thank you planet celeb.

Kate Moss + friends toast Dazed + Confused birthday
Mossy looked ‘mazing at Dazed and Confused cult magazine’s 20th birthday party. As did Gemma Arterton, Amber le Bon, Cara Delevingne and Poppy Delevingne, who all wore black.
However it seems like Pixie Geldof and Jaime Winstone didn’t get the memo and wore loud prints. Who’s your favourite?
P.S. Mere mortals can go and see the birthday exhibition in London for free.

Spotted: Celebs who love Topshop’s polka dot midi dress
Sometimes a high street fashion item comes along that the celebs can’t get enough of and this Topshop midi dress is one of them.
Topshop is one of the many shops keen on the midi length trend at the moment, which is notoriously difficult to wear without looking short or dowdy, so here is some fashion inspiration from some of our favourite celebrities rocking the 40s and midi trend.
We’re usually a huge fan of Kirsten Dunst but we’re not sure about her choice of flat shoes with the midi length dress. We love Fearne Cotton’s red platforms and Pixie Geldof’s cute peep toe shoes – this dress looks great with a tan – and Laura Bailey’s
strong red lip also vamps up the outfit.

House of Holland for Superga designs revealed
Happy Birthday Superga!
The Italian plimsoll company is looking good for 100 years of age and the company celebrated in style with a party with London’s bright young things, including Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof and Henry Holland.
As well as celebs, Superga revealed two House of Holland-designed plimsolls, which I personally love, but so far we haven’t seen any pricing details.
While the brand enjoyed a Renaissance suring the 1990s, it is cool again with Alexa Chung as the face of the brand and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as creative directors.

LFW: Jessie J leads the fash pack at Giles Deacon
One of the most dramatic shows of LFW. I loved Giles Deacon’s lazer cut simple silver metallic dresses (in different cuts to suit
everyone) and use of feathers and eye-catching swan prints.
Feather and wing motifs ran through some of the designs with a palette of silver, peach and white as well as shots of black and
vermillion. While my favourite pieces were structured and simple, Giles also showed off some incredible feathered gowns with flowing chiffon.
And now for the celebs…
Naomi Campbell, Kelis + Anna Wintour at Topshop Unique
Oversized 90s sportswear was combined with lots of gold (even gold leaf hair) and modern prints drawing on hieroglyphs but in a graffiti and Keith Haring kind of way. Do we want to wear jogging bottoms outdoors though? We’re still unsure! Egyptian scarab beetles, snakes and sacred animals also jostled for space with all the golden embellishments.
There were however feminine touches (sheer panelled skirts and dresses) all with gold which still seemed ‘street’ despite the obvious reference of Cleopatra in an Elizabeth Taylor 60s OTT way.
SCROLL DOWN FOR CELEBS!
Topshop’s collection attracted a LOT of celeb attention and in attendance were: Naomi Campbell, Anna Wintour, Pixie Geldof, Nicola Roberts, Ellie Gouldng (yeah- she gets around at LFW), Eliza Doolittle (ditto), Kelis, Olivia Palermo plus super bloggers Bip Ling, Susie Bubble and The Sartorialist.
