Kylie Minogue steps out in those Prada sandals

They are one of the defining shoes of SS12 and sum up the fun and flirty feel of this season and we are clearly not the only ones that love the Prada Milano sandal. Check out Kylie Minogue’s shoes -we’re green with envy!

Katy Perry rocks the whole shebang!

Katy Perry x Teen Vogue

Katy Perry has matched her Cookie Monster blue hair with a Zac Posen spacey dress for the cover of Teen Vogue this month. I’m not a huge fan but I do like Katy’s other outfits. Which is your favourite?

A little too Jetsons?!

Katy wears Oscar de la Renta

In Mark Katrantzou - normally the centre of attention but this shot is so busy!

More Oscar de la Renta - do like this dress!

Katy Perry for Adidas

With Olympic fever heating up we’re being bombarded with fashion and celebrity sportswear campaigns (I guess it pays to look good whilst watching people do exercise really well on tv this summer?!) But we quite like this Adidas ClimaCool campaign starring Katy Perry – the products are bright and cheerful but also look practical and wearable for people who like a little exercise but don’t wear revealing leotards to the gym. Are you a fan?

Still sporting cookie monster hair, Katy Perry looks great in this purple sporty ensemble

These trainers look pretty stylish and clever...and they come in so many colour combos. Around $100

We do like an action shot!

Retro photo shoot smack-down: Naomi Campbell vs Katy Perry

Oh the retro photo shoot with its romantic photography, film siren eyeliner and glam clothes, we’ve seen so many of late and yet we’re not bored…yet!

Can you believe Naomi Campbell is 41? I mean seriously! She steals Tina Turner’s style for a quirky shoot for W Magazine but thankfully not her unique walk (that’s not how you close Roberto Cavalli’s MFW show y’all.)

And so to Katy Perry  for Interview magazine (get scrolling!) who has gone all old-school Hollywood with tassels and burlesque details, but in an almost Art Deco kind-of-way and she really reminds me of a young Elizabeth Taylor. Anyone else?

Putting the SUPER in super model

Love this dress

Top 5 best-dressed: The American Music Awards

Last night in LA, the US’ finest pop stars gathered for The American Music Awards. The people you would guess won so instead we bring you the 5 best-dressed according to us.

Heidi Klum and Selena Gomez shimmered in metallic’s – Heidi’s a Giles design hot off the catwalk, while Katy Perry and Nicky Minaj rocked their pink hair with high fashion gowns by Vivienne Westwood and Oscar de la Renta. We also loved Ellie Goulding’s simple Christopher Kane shift dress with the twist. Who’s your favourite?

Charlotte Olympia cat shoes = perfect for Alexa, Katy + SJP

Ballet pumps are playing cat and mouse. Marc Jacobs has made the cutest mousey pumps on the block for a while, but now Charlotte Olympia has given us purfect kitty pumps and celebs are going crazy for them! (Celebrity catnip if you will.)

We could have predicted that Alexa Chung and Katy Perry would be fans and we love the look on Poppy Delevingne, but Sarah Jessica Parker getting on board with the kitty trend is a surprise.

Charlotte Olympia has created plenty of quirky shoe styles -we loved the fruity platforms and really want a pair of kitty pumps but at a hefty £485 we might have to settle for Topshop’s cat slippers instead! In fact with so many cheap and cheerful slipper-shaped shoes around, maybe we’ll have a DIY cat attempt!

Katy Perry - big cat fan!

Not sooooo dissimilar?! £14 cat slippers from Topshop

MTV Europe Music Awards: best dressed

Is there an MTV Awards do of some description every month? It feels like it- but iit’s always an opportunity so spot some impressive outfits.

Selena Gomez wore A-lister favourite Marchesa, while Jesse J vamped it up in Dolce & Gabbana. We loved Katy Perry’s Grease-inspired outfit (which reminded us of Prada’s S/S12 collection) and matched her pink hair, while Bar Refaeli looked amazing as usual.

Love this ultra-glam look on Jesse J

Amazing lace detailing from Marchesa (but Selena looks SO grown-up!)

Pink Lady Katy Perry has fun with the fifties Grease style.

Personally we're not huge fans of Bar's dress but she does look incredible anyway!

Lady Gaga: crazy outfit + a mountain of awards

Halloween 2011 – Best dressed celebrities *Updated!*

So it’s that time of year again when the Halloween costume presents a sartorial challenge – how to do scary or witty whilst still looking fashionable, or at least vaguely attractive.

And every year it reminds me of the bit in Mean Girls (if you follow our blog you’ll know I have a soft spot for ‘bad’ films) which for me, sums up Halloween party dressing completely.

Tulisa was the only X-Factor judge who donned a Halloween Costume, Kelly Brook scored top marks for being very slightly imaginative, whilst the Hilton sisters, Petra Ecclestone, Jersey Shore’s Jwoww and Kim Kardashian all played the overtly sexy Halloween card.

Kelly Brook makes a convincing scary Bella

Tulisa as Catwoman (didn't get the memo that the others weren't dressing up?)

Jwoww vamps it up as ?! but we do like her cute pooches

Katy Perry - believe it or not!

Kim Kardashian in full-on Poison Ivy get-up

Petra Ecclestone as Jessica Rabbit

Paris Hilton as yet another super hero...Shera!

Nicky Hilton opts for that Halloween default costume option - cat.

And finally…this is probably the one I’d pick!

Blake Lively accessories a perfectly nice outfit with a giant pumpkin

Now we’ve got even more celebrity costumes…enjoy and Happy Halloween!

Emma Roberts as a Playboy Bunny

Gwen Stefani does Cinderella

Heidi Klum is just terrifying - how long did that makeup take?!

Jessica Alba keeps its simple as a classic witch

Nicole Richie dresses up at J-Lo (you have to laugh!)

GASP gaff: Worst fashion customer service fail ever?

Here at Snap Fashion we’re working on ways to change the way you shop online – so you can search for clothes using photos and find clothes to fit your body shape. We want to put some ‘extra value’ into your online shopping experience so it’s like having a stylist at your disposal or advice from a super helpful high-end assistant in a designer shop…

…so we were shocked when we heard about this fashion customer service fail! Seriously- could you make a customer’s shopping trip any more miserable? Mary Portas would be on the war path.

The story goes like this…A woman called Keara O’Neill was shopping for bridesmaid’s dresses with her friends in a GASP shop in Australia and experienced such rubbish customer service she complained to the chain’s head office – only to be further insulted.

In store the girls claim to have been patronised by the shop assistant, who reportedly said: I knew you girls were a joke the minute you walked in.”

So you’d expect most shops to have a go at such a rude employee and beg for consumer forgiveness right? Not at GASP.

The chain replied to the complaint via email, reportedly saying: Chris whom served you is a qualified stylist whom has a sixth sense for fashion, and Chris’s only problem is that he is too good at what he does. Chris is a retail superstar, who possesses unparalleled ability, and I am sorry you feel upset by him, but he knew you were not going to buy anything before you even left your house.”

Not content with being rude to customers, the shop goes on to say that it doesn’t want to appeal the masses, who it implies are or should be ‘frightened’ of being so fashion forward.

The email apparently said: “Our range is worn by A list celebrities to the likes of Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry to name only a few. Now, as one might appreciate, the style counsel for these types of celebrities are not ones to pick ‘run of the mill’ type clothing.”

The email ends with the charming comment that “It is probably fair to assume, a lot of what I have said in this email, either doesn’t make sense to you, or you totally disagree with it all.”

This sort of disgusting fashion snobbery and nastiness in making people feel bad about themselves is what we want to change. And while we can’t (unfortunately) clamp down on mean shop assistants we will be bringing you a positive styling Snap Fashion tool for your mobile and as a website early next year to help you find clothes you love that suit your body shape.

GASP (thankfully not in the UK) sells dresses for between £75 and £800 and has apparently been inundated by customers since the incident, but also received a load of negative comments via Facebook and Twitter including one from Australian model and MTV presenter Ruby Rose, who apparently tweeted: “I am actually laughing.. I can’t believe gasp called themselves fashion forward. Sweetheart you sell polyester dresses u ain’t no Prada.”

We want to know if you have experienced similar shocking customer service (we hope not!) or if you’d rather buy designer good online or in stores.
